Meet Dr. Shawyan “Yaz” Yazdanmehr

Raised in Carlsbad, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the San Diego community—and it’s where my heart is happiest. After completing my pre-dental studies at UCLA, I pursued my dental training at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where I honed my skills and deepened my passion for patient-centered care. Following graduation, I had the privilege of practicing in downtown Chicago, gaining invaluable experience before returning home to serve the city I love.
When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me outdoors—surfing our beautiful local waves, playing pickleball, exploring new hiking trails, strumming my guitar, or traveling to new destinations. I’m also proudly married to my amazing wife, who is on her journey to becoming an anesthesiologist at UCSD, and together we love giving back and serving the San Diego community.
My goal as a dentist is simple: to provide thoughtful, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment, helping every patient feel confident in their smile.

Hoa obtained her A.S. degree from San Joaquin Valley College Dental Hygiene Program in Rancho Cucamonga. She has been a valued member of our Hygiene team for over two years now. She provides the best quality care for her patients by consistently completing thorough cleanings, sharing her knowledge of effective oral home-care, and expanding her skills through continuing education courses. She’s passionate about her profession and looks forward to making a difference in the experience each patient has in our office.

Lynette is a North County local, born and raised in Encinitas. She graduated top of her class from San Joaquin Valley College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a ball of energy who has a love for providing optimal care for her patients. When not with patients, she’s planning her next adventure. She has a bright passion for traveling and has been to almost twenty foreign countries. Lynette also loves spending time with her nieces and nephews, running on the coast, and dancing up a storm to salsa music.

Janet prides herself on her genuine interest in her patient’s well being. Giving personalized attention, she is very thorough and detail-oriented. She offers a conscientious, gentle touch, with a skilled hand. As a graduate from Southwestern College Dental Hygiene Program in 2007, Janet continues her education by attending courses each year. Janet caters to the specific dental needs of patients with a strong focus on patient education. In her spare time, Janet enjoys trips to Disneyland and spending time with her husband and two “fur kids”—a bloodhound and a Shepherd mix.
