Raised in Carlsbad, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the San Diego community—and it’s where my heart is happiest. After completing my pre-dental studies at UCLA, I pursued my dental training at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where I honed my skills and deepened my passion for patient-centered care. Following graduation, I had the privilege of practicing in downtown Chicago, gaining invaluable experience before returning home to serve the city I love.
When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me outdoors—surfing our beautiful local waves, playing pickleball, exploring new hiking trails, strumming my guitar, or traveling to new destinations. I’m also proudly married to my amazing wife, who is on her journey to becoming an anesthesiologist at UCSD, and together we love giving back and serving the San Diego community.
My goal as a dentist is simple: to provide thoughtful, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment, helping every patient feel confident in their smile.

Hoa obtained her A.S. degree from San Joaquin Valley College Dental Hygiene Program in Rancho Cucamonga. She has been a valued member of our Hygiene team for over two years now. She provides the best quality care for her patients by consistently completing thorough cleanings, sharing her knowledge of effective oral home-care, and expanding her skills through continuing education courses. She’s passionate about her profession and looks forward to making a difference in the experience each patient has in our office.
